DOLLY EYES

Dolly eyes or Love band is another cosmetic surgery in the eye area that is quite popular today because it can change the face to look cuter and younger. The beginning of the procedure came from the desire to make the eyes look rounder and more cute, in the style of Korean actresses and models. Later, it became popular in Thailand.

What is DOLLY EYES?

Dolly eye surgery is an eye modification technique that helps make our eyes beautiful, moist, cute, fresh, and lovely, like Korean girls. While showing off a smile, our eyes will have eyelids that create dolly eyes. It is a muscle bundle at the lower eyelid that occurs when we smile. It is a natural facial expression. However, in some cases, there are few or no muscles in this area, making it unclear. These problems can be solved with special techniques, taking care of every step by a specialist doctor to achieve good results, cleanliness, prevent side effects, and enhance confidence while showing off a smile. After the adjustment is complete, the lower eyelid will look thicker, making the eyes and overall composition of the eyes look big and bright. Showing off a sweet smile can enhance confidence and create a good impression at first sight.

Dolly eye surgery on the lower eyelid to make it thicker makes the eyes look bigger, brighter, and more prominent. After the procedure, the overall face will look sweeter and younger. This is one of the eye surgery services that is suitable for those who want to correct and adjust their eyes to look cute in the Korean style.

Pre-Surgery Preparation

  • Inform the doctor about any chronic conditions, medications for those conditions, surgical history, drug allergies, or food allergies. If you have any previous hospital records, please bring them to the consultation or inform the doctor before scheduling surgery.
  • Patients taking blood thinners or medications affecting blood clotting (such as pain relievers or chronic condition medications) should consult the doctor before surgery or notify them before booking the surgery date.
  • Avoid taking any supplements like vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo biloba, grape seed, ginseng, etc., at least one month before the surgery.
  • Wash your hair thoroughly before the surgery and avoid wearing makeup on the surgery day. Do not wear contact lenses on the day of surgery. If you have vision issues, wear glasses instead.
  • Remove all jewelry such as earrings, necklaces, rings, or any body jewelry on the day of surgery (if any cannot be removed, inform the staff).
  • Refrain from smoking for at least 4 weeks before and after surgery, as smoking reduces oxygen levels in the blood and hinders wound healing. This may lead to slower recovery and an increased risk of infection.
  • Avoid alcoholic drinks 1–2 days before surgery and continue abstaining for at least 1 week after the surgery.
  • Clean your fingernails and toenails thoroughly before surgery. Refrain from applying nail polish or getting artificial nails.

  • For the first 3-5 days after surgery, apply a warm compress to help reduce swelling.
  • Avoid using cosmetics that require wiping around the eyes.
  • After the stitches are removed, be careful not to rub or wipe the eye area harshly to prevent tearing of the wound.
  • Ensure you consume a balanced and nutritious diet to support faster recovery.
  • Take medications and follow the doctor’s instructions strictly.
  • Drink enough clean water to meet your body’s hydration needs.
